Renewable energy is a key priority for the Territory Government, striving to achieve 50 per cent renewables for electricity supply by 2030.

The Roadmap to Renewables report with 11 recommendations is guiding our staged transition. Detailed technical, economic and financial modelling is underway to support implementation that ensures a reliable, secure and least cost electricity supply for the Territory.

The Territory’s world-class energy resources will play a significant role in our transition to renewables. Territory gas is a low-carbon transition fuel supporting the realisation of new industry solutions, innovation and technology and supports continuing stability and security for energy supply.
